Wiring Kits Explained

Last Updated: Jan 15, 2015 12:24PM EST
We sell 3 types of wiring for fans.

Thermostat / Relay Kit
SKU : 221453

Our best value wiring comes with a temperature sensor and 30 amp fuse on a universal connection.  For customers using any economy amp draw fan, you can splice this wiring for dual and triple layouts.  Most economy fans will pull 7-9 amps per fan.  It is important for the user to check when not purchasing their fans through our service as we have upgraded wiring that may be more beneficial.  Note connections are universal and may need to be cut off.
Uses:
Single, Dual, Triple fans under 30 amp total draw

Dual Relay Wiring Harness - Relay Only  This wiring has 2 30 amp fuses and 2 universal connection points.  Users will most likely be required to cut connectors and use wiring for connection.  This system is good for use with our hurricane max amp fans
Can be used as a triple fan setup as well.  Most fans will never take more than 15 amp each, you would extend your splice on one amp.  Be sure to check actual amps of your fans prior to use when not purchasing our suggested fans.  If using this setup for regular economy fans, you'll have more than enough amp per fan (little bit overkill)
Uses:
Dual, Triple fans under 40 amp total draw

Dual Relay With Temp Switch  Same as the dual relay wiring harness, this version comes with a temperature switch.  Assist with turning on and off the fan at desired temps.
Uses:

Dual, Triple fans under 40 amp total draw
