While there is no set schedule for getting a radiator flush, we would suggest that you do it at least every other year or 40,000 miles. Most importantly, flush your system when replacing your radiator. NEVER , just swap parts and use contaminated fluids. Not only will they void warranties, but they can cause damage to the vehicle. Why? Well overtime antifreeze will become acidic and lose its ability to protect your engine. Simple PH detectors can be used to check your coolant. But, flushing periodically will best help protect your engine and keep your radiator clean of sediment build ups.
