Independence Day Holiday Will Impact Some UPS Services
Due to the Independence Day holiday on Saturday, July 4, 2015, UPS will make an operational adjustment that will impact some shipments.
We will work to ensure the safety of our employees while minimizing effects on service. Contingency plans are in place to ensure that shipments arrive at their final destinations as quickly as conditions permit.
There will be no pickups or deliveries in the U.S. on Saturday, July 4. In addition, some international services will be impacted. This includes:
- No delivery of any international import volume to the U.S. on Saturday, July 4
- No delivery to Canada of international volume on Saturday, July 4
- A one-day delay for Europe-bound packages picked up in the U.S. on Friday, July 3
- A two-day delay for Asia-bound packages picked up in the U.S. on Friday, July 3
