Do you have to - No absolutely not. The warranty is offered from the manufacturer as an exchange.
Do we suggest it - Absolutely. If you order another radiator as per our warranty instructions, you can keep your vehicle up and running and even use the replacement box to ship in your claim. In this situation, we process a refund directly to the most recent credit card used once the manufacturer has received, inspected and approved your claim.
If you would like to opt to ship in your replacement and wait on warranty, you can do so. We will provide you the return address. Package, label and ship in the item as per our instructions. Expect a 2-3 week inspection process. Once approved, the manufacturer will reship a replacement free of charge (minus S&H cost).
